South Korean navy plane crash kills four crew members

Rescuers were dispatched after receiving reports from residents that an unidentified aircraft crashed on a hill and sparked a fire, a Pohang emergency office said.

Two fatalities known at this stage but from the photos I would be very surprised if there were any survivors

A Lockheed P-3CK ASW aircraft (presumably 100917) belonging to the South Korean Navy has reportedly crashed near the Pohang base.

It is known that there were four crew members on board, who are currently officially listed as missing.

The cause of the accident is being investigated ( Avia news )
