Spitfire Mk XVIII 6S-676372-165 at Hangar 10, Zirchow, Germany. Museum information states that this aircraft was built in 1945, and flew with 9 Squadron RAF before entering service with the Indian Air Force in 1948. I have put more photos from this fantastic museum here
Well worth it! None of the planes were flying when I visited, but seeing the collection inside the hanger was still fantastic. The rocket research centre at Peenemunde is nearby too and also very interesting
Keep me in mind Terry. I would want to visit the museum when there is a flying display on and fear paying for airfare and lodging only to find out that there's nothing in the air. So far I've not seen any regularly scheduled shows. It just seems to be on a whim when they put their planes up.
