Stars Look Down Tamiya P-51B Conversion

This model represents the P-51 that was used to fly Ike around the area of St. Lo in July of 44. When he flew in it, the 354th had not applied the noseart and it had a different rear canopy. This airplane survived the war and was reportedly scrapped in 1946. I did the conversion using plastic card and cast the parts in resin. The rear canopy(s) were vacuum formed from masters I made with resin as well. Fun Project!
