Submarine rescues B-29 crewmen

Maybe I'm the last to know about this, but while searching for something completely different this morning I found a color film taken by a submarine captain of the crash of a B-29 into the ocean following a mission against Japan, and the subsequent rescue of all 11 of the crew. One of my Mother's brothers was crew in a USN Avenger TBM, and was shot down and rescued by sub near the end of the Pacific war - those bubbleheads sure saved a lot of airmen of all services.

There's another wartime color video out there that is a compilation of sea rescues by subs.
One of the subs in the video is my Uncle's boat, the USS Cavalla and if memory serves right, one of the other boats seen in the video is the USS Tambor.
