Sunken Jet parts in Lake Champlain

I am a researcher in the northeast and come upon this wreckage in deep water of lake Champlain. Looking for help in identifying part numbers. Some of the numbers are a bit blurry but some are pretty consistent with a 51B prefix on Alcoa parts. There is one part with a USAF Boeing number with a mod number also. thoughts?

25 crashes into Lake Champlain

Twenty-five planes have crashed into or on the ice of Lake Champlain. Several remain under the waters of the lake including parts of a massive four-engine KC-97 that crashed on takeoff from Plattsburgh Air Force Base in 1957.

If the KC-97 was a KC-97L there would be two jet engines in pods under the wings, so it would count... sort of.

Twenty-five planes have crashed into or on the ice of Lake Champlain. Several remain under the waters of the lake including parts of a massive four-engine KC-97 that crashed on takeoff from Plattsburgh Air Force Base in 1957.

The KC97 crashed several miles away from the site where these parts were recovered, and the report indicated they recovered almost all parts due to the crash being in shallow water.
