"Sweet Sixteen" was flown by Gordon Hill, who I had the pleasure of meeting when the organization I help with handed over Hawker Hurricane 5389, which we restored, the very one he flew on 9 occasions while serving on the west coast of Canada in 1943. Sadly, Gordon passed in 2021 at the age of 97.
