Hi all,

Here are a couple of photos of from a Betty marked in surrender paint. These photos were found in our Museum archives but did not have a name to them. We are working on finding that out during an overhaul of the archives. In the meantime, Enjoy!

They (there was 2 of them) flew back to Japan.

Anyone know what happened to that plane? I assume it was scrapped.

One was ditched on the way back to Tokyo near Hamamatsu.
The other was scrapped in Kisarazu, Chiba Pref. after the mission.

Ditched one.
