I'm looking for information about an experimental 2000 hp Swiss Saurer aircraft engine under development during World War 2. I believe it was a 2 stroke diesel. It is described as an opposed piston engine in a rhomboid configuration(?). The Flieger Flab Museum in Dubendorf, which looks like an awesome place, has a couple of examples of either the experimental engines and a diagram on the hall of the museum explaining how the engine functions. Doesn't look that large for 2000 HP. That's impressive
