I realise a few members are familiar with the T-28 'Trojan' series, Erich possibly more than some, so hopefully this will be an easy question to answer.
On the flaps, there are two boarding steps on each side - are these open 'boxes', or 'kick in' steps?
Any help will be gratefully received.

Thanks my friend, some useful stuff in there.
A big THANK YOU to George (Fubar), who has e-mailed the Pilot's Manuals to me, and answered the question - and a lot more beside.

A night out with Kelly Brooke - excellent!
Free beer for a month - brilliant!
Instant help from friends on this forum - priceless !!!!

Yes Andy, she told me when she got home ...
Aaron, that's right - they're 'kick in' steps, basically a hollow box-section within the flap, covered by a spring-loaded plate.
