Like it. Tried your masking fluid technique buy using a sewing needle as an applicator rather than the sponge and I got some good results, so my thanks to you. :D

Hi Peterflint, looking closely at the photos, the manufacturer does provide some good detail on the model, and your fine, careful painting enhances that really well. Looking forward to seeing the finished article. Will there be any significant insignia to mark it as off a British Battleship, and is there a particular time period camouflage colour scheme you are using?

Thanks, I'm happy you are enjoying it and to be honest I haven't really put any thought into the markings and was planning to paint the roundels and use the kit serial codes etc, I believe the kit decals are for a training squadron hence the heavy weathering
