hello gentlemen,

a friend took out this tank in a French attic.

the last inspection date is 1945.

I only have these few photos ....

can you help me precisely identify the model?

In addition to Captn's note:
The serial number of the tank is the best proof for the a/c from which the part is. NAA marks all parts starting with the company serial: 192 is the NAA-serial for F-100A (check e.g. here ).
I'm not sure if the same tank was used in F-100C as well.

Where is the "1945" inspection date?
Its no where to be found in the pictures shown.
...also, are we sure "F100C" is the model of the airplane the tank was installed in?
As model designations go, that's kind of unusual.
I would think it is more likely NAA's model # for the tank itself.
 
The original poster stated that the last inspection date was 1945. Unless he's made a transcription error?
