That extra link is Otherworldly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But how do I get it to translate? I get the idea of it but !
Thank you. Some of that I have, some not. This is a puzzle and any pieces help. There are no manuals at the following links, but there are a few images from manuals and from actual installations. Plus a bunch of related info that might help in your search.
Maybe take a look at these articles covering the APQ-13 and APS-15:
PDF pg146
"https://www.worldradiohistory.com/Archive-Electronics/40s/Electronics-1946-05.pdf"
PDF pg149
"https://www.worldradiohistory.com/Archive-Electronics/40s/Electronics-1946-06.pdf"
They do not show the early nose installation.
Also, there is a mock-up of the B-17 type installation for the radar operators station at NASM:
"APS-15 Radar"
Also, try this article for a nice side-view of the first type of nose installation:
And this website (at the bottom of the page) for some images of the later nose installation as fitted in the Pacific (though this particular airframe is being used for SAR:
"Lawrence Dietz: P-40 Mechanic in the Aleutians by Doug Dietz"
Also, this website, with info on the H2S and H2X equipped B-17s:
"B-17GSH radar equipped B-17"

Thanks for the overload of info. Two other manual sites for electrical ballast are RadioNerds and the Boat Anchor Manual Archive site at Bama Manual Archive
Closest I've got is a 1961 Ash82T O&M manual. It may have some of the info you needHej there,
I am looking for the following manual:
Авиационный мотор АШ-82
М. Воениздат НКО
1945
Aviation engine ASh-82
M. Voenizdat NKO
1945
does any one happen to have that or can show me where to find it?
many thanks
Mike: It looks like Curtis did most of their own fabrication on throttle assemblies until the D model at least. Running thru the available drawings, I couldn't find an installation drawing, for the throttle, but did find numerous parts drawings. The guys at Precision Aeromotive or at Pay's might be a better source of info.Hi All...I am looking for any Throttle info-manuals for early P40 Tomahawk & P40 C-D models.
Possibly a B-21 produced by Shakespeare. But there may be others. Many thanks in advance.
Mike
The 1947 issue by 'Oborongiz' is widely available, if that is of any help.Авиационный мотор АШ-82
М. Воениздат НКО
