The F-15 turns 50 and is still a dominating air superiority fighter.

I have to go to the office tomorrow. I might just go downstairs to the assembly line and wish her Happy Birthday!

I just watched that again. At the very end, on the bottom of the screen, it says something like "Use of DoD images does not constitute endorsement".

I don't think Canada ever considered it. Probably for political reasons.

The F-15 (and F-14) were contenders until as late as 1979 -- but once Trudeau's Liberal Party won in 1980 the choice was immediately narrowed to the F-16 and F-18.

How many Ukrainian pilots can we train before they start rolling off the assembly line? Can we bump them to the head of the line?

I doubt they can be bumped. The USAF probably has priority. Plus the F-15QA is still being built.

Got my 50th Anniversary coin today. I think you will like this one BiffF15 BiffF15 . Damn thing is huge.

That is big, but so is the Eagle in reputation and physical presence!
