I stumbled on this movie/documentary on Amazon Prime (Which I recommend) but I know it's an older video but man is it absolutely interesting AND amusing to watch.

I just love the thought of "how do we deceive the Germans?" I've always known about the inflatable tanks, trucks and planes...but never knew the exact extent to which it was carried out. Amazing to watch.

They had a great episode about this on PBS, showing the people and material behind the effort of illusion during WWII.

All militaries did this and actually still do today.

Good find. My former father-in-law was involved in a similar planning venture in Palestine during the war creating an illusionary front for what I believe was Greece and the Balkans.
