As I understand it, there is a need to honor the ladies who share aviation with us. No, not our long-suffering wives, but the lady mechanics, pilots, and others who contribute, or contributed to aviation, be it something pioneering, or more mundane tasks, such ladies are fully up to it, no matter what, and act the professionals they are/were.

And I'd like to start with a lady I learned about many years ago, one Harriet Quimby, the first woman in the United States to get a pilot license, 1912.
