I am calling this one done fellas I had three pieces left to install two landing lights and the clear underwing light ..well as my luck has been the last I dropped the r/wing light and wala it was frigg'in gone I am not manufacturing another one I figure by the time I get done sanding and repainting I will break another gun barrel the antenna/pitot tube will both wala best to stop while ahead.I figure should it show fix it then,

The kit is a worthy kit for a P-47 the subtleties of the lines and rivets are quite nice.I had no issues with the front cowling myself upon examination notches are supplied to remove any guess work on your part.I thought I had the aux.fuel tank aligned let it sit overnight well it slid some I left it been breaking to much on this one. The one thing I did not understand you have a square hole for the LG but it was loose I mean the reason for square to get a uniform alignment no guess work other than that decals/stencils worked out great beginning to not like Florry's Dust would of been fine with the Sand like you see on the bottom.I was trying to lighten the color of of the OD for sun fade not to successful but is better than the P-40.

You should fix the central tank. It destroys an otherwise beautiful model...
Well Dion their were some other issues that kinda did it before that broken antenna,Broken gun barrels and I just have not had success with Florry's Dust!I usually do not weather much but have been pushing the envelope in that direction not giving up either. The tank is actually glue to the four probes with Tamyia thin I guess I could of re-wet pried apart, repaint then attach again but if I broke a probe?it is what it is and appreciate the input and comment.

Looking very good. Nicely done.
Thanks Wojtek not perfect but I did learn how to cast iron the Bombs I am doing the Tamyia F-84G ATTM bombs away.

It's a beautiful build.
In some regards yes but it's not going to any competitions. Thanks

great little build there Kevin with some subtle wear and tear.
Subtle??....The dust is a little much for me the bottom has the sand I find it works across many theaters for effect. Thanks and the Mossie is it working for ya?

Nah it is good as it is.
Pictures in this scale....

Its nice.
I appreciate the comment I will probably do another seeing how I had the Quintas all the time for this kit and forgot I had it.I like the kit alot wings was different from Hase/Tamy kits but a solid fit with no filler.I doubt I go the full kit with all the metal in 1/48 I usually build for aesthetic qualities unless alot of glass(multi-engine) otherwise I leave that to the 1/32 and larger...eyeballs.

Having fun all be it in dribs and drabs, working on nose gun platform at the moment and trying to push the boundaries, fiddly work.
Is yours the Tamy or HK?I built the HK did quite a bit of scratch in the pit and had some Eduard.I went and looked Tamyia.

Well I guess the journey is more important than the final destination! Looks nice to me anyways.
