Damned straight. The A-1 carried on well into Vietnam and was loved as "Sandy" for protecting downed crews, because it carried so much piss-off and could hang around for so long. Later picked up by USAF & RVNAF for ground attack.

It also had AWACS and anti-sub variants in the 50s.

Single-engined carrier attack bomber lugging as much as a WWII B-17, what's not to love? Also shot down a MiG iirc with twenty-double-mikes.
 
Time for the long-overdue update. This is the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. As y'all know, they have a healthy collection of airplanes as well as the USS Drum, a Gato-class submarine. I'll lay out the airplanes in roughly chronological order. I'll also include a couple of ground pieces they have in their collection.
