As I was already an adult in the 1980s when the Raba Ku was popular with the teenagers, I did not know it at all.
I belong to the generation of "Shiden-kai no taka (They were called hawks)" or "Zero-sen Hayato (Hayato of Zero Fighter)"in the 1960s.
What I learnt from them was "We lost the war but fought well".
That's awesome! Great info, Shinpachi. If I were to hazard a guess at the closest aircraft to a twin engined Zero, it'd probably be a Ki-46; one of the prettiest aeroplanes around, anyway.
It sure is, Dave, although with the Ki-46 being built by the same over all company, if not by the same design team, I guess it bears marginally closer resemblance to the Zero.
