Right fellas, can a TF-104G be made from a F-104DJ?

Is there any reason for it can't?

With a conversion kit, yes. But there were TF104 kits by Hasegawa, ESCI and Italeri, so why convert ?

That's why I'm asking gentlemen, Hasegawa has the F-104DJ in 1/48, but the Norwegian Air Force was using the TF-104G's I think, FN-M....what is the difference?
