Just started this one, a few days ago. It's "Typhoon of Steel", by James William Belote. The copywrite is 1970, so it's been in my library a few years. I'm just getting around to reading my books, now that I am officially "retred"
Anyhow, it's a good read. It devotes a whole chapter to the suicide mission of the IJN Yamato and her group, in their attempt to
lure the US Navy's aircraft away from Okinawa. We all know how that ended.
As usual, the Belote brothers have done their research (they also wrote "Corregidor: The Saga of a Fortress). Even tho I'm only on page 132 (of 357), I would recommend this to anyone interested in the PTO.
