Good morning,

I live in France in the eastern region not far from the border with Germany.
I made the purchase in a flea market of a piece of plane ww2..
Unfortunately, I don't have the crash site... if I had the type of plane I could do some research.
If you want to give me some of your time I can share other photos with you.
I would like to revive the memory of this object because for now, it is only a piece of metal.
it was very light, the violence of the crash must have been terrible
I can't find a serial number, the internal part is painted black and the external part is dark green, see photos

Rivets look like uni-head, US-type. 2cm is roughly equal to 6D pitch on a 1/8 rivet (actually 19.05). Just a guess.
