Can anyone help? I am trying to trace my Grandfathers war records.

The details i Know so far are. I have attached a picture of a painting of his plans that was commissioned for him after the war

X9938 was built in September 1941, to the Middle East in December, reported with 40 squadron, destroyed by own bombs 2/3 September 1942.

37 squadron arrived in the Middle East via Malta in December 1940 at Shallufa 17 December 1940 to 27 April 1942.
