In my castle....
Looking at a handful of books for Vietnam, the air war that is....
As I know nothing about them "grunts", what books do you recommend there?

Very detailed. What to me was most interesting is the single rarest US fighter lost in Vietnam, what for it, a Cougar. A TF9J Cougar, USMC. I believe it went down on Dec 25, 1967. The two aviators ejected and were picked up. I think it was operating like a Misty or Wild Weasel operation.
