I am on currently working on a senior design project as an aerospace engineering student. We have been looking into planes comparable to the one we are designing and the Westland Lysander came to mind. We want to be able to compare basic price and I am having trouble finding the unit cost for one of the planes when they were first introduced. Any help is appreciated!

Only just found this query - others may be interested even though the OP presumably is not as he was only here for three days

Definitely wrong on the armanant on many levels.

From that hash up the Wirraway had

In actual fact the 1938 Wirraway had two Vickers Mk V in the cockpit/cowl and a GO gun in the rear cockpit. From the Pilot Notes first edition (equivalent aircraft from when the RAAF did their comparison).

Later, circa July 45, they started replacing the 600 round per gun cowl guns with underslung Brownings, P-39 style with a massive 210 rounds per gun.

The Wirraway bomb load varied according to the submodel but in 1939 they had shackles for bombs in the centre section and outer wings

The RAAF carried out a comparison of the two aircraft in Sept 38 and concluded:
