What are these Stinson bundles?

    Two bundles have already been hung under the wings of the Stinson and it looks like more are being prepared, but what the heck are they, I don't know.

    From the front of the bundles, and what's laying around if the background, it looks like coils of rope.

    The front of each bundle is the small parachute pack, rather basic, but enough to work on the low-level, slow, supply drop.
    The packages could contain anything from rations or medical supplies, to ammunition, probably the former. One of the fairly primitive static lines can be seen hanging down in front of the package under the port wing, not yet attached to a 'hard point' on the aircraft's strut.
