A recent thread (What if, after signing the Munich Agreement, Hitler did not invade Poland until 1944[?]; What if, after signing the Munich Agreement, Hitler did not invade Poland until 1944) asked a question about what would happen had Hitler delayed the invasion of Poland and, presumably, stopped after gobbling up Austria and Czechoslovakia.

I'm going to ask a different question.
In the time between the wars, Britain was not consistent in supporting France against a resurgent Germany, accepting German naval rearmament far beyond the confines of the Versailles Treaty, and, either through malice or neglect, failing to support France as German government rhetoric and behavior became increasingly threatening.

While I don't think either the UK or France had the military wherewithal to invade and occupy Germany when that country's military resurgence became most evident, I'd like to posit that the UK and France form a public and binding diplomatic and military alliance. Europe had something quite similar a century ago, in the alliance between France, Britain, Austria, Prussia, and Russia against France and progressivism.

So, I'm positing a multi-national or at least bilateral alliance against Germany and revanchism. How goes WW2 if France's security concerns aren't poo-poohed by the UK during most of the inter-war years?
