Senior Airman
Now over 30 years ago, I sent some coins to a group that was starting a
restoration of a Bf 109G, and in return they sent me the little wallet sized
card shown below. I did not follow up and in any event, finishing school
and then the Navy consumed all my attention. So, I don't know if this
project was completed, and if so, which 109 it is. A quick internet check
yeilds nothing other than John W. Caler was a publisher at the time but now
defunct (The Jew with the Blue Max, by Heinz Nowarra, published by
John W. Caler, 1967...)
I am hoping one of you West Coast boys will know what aircraft (and where)
this project finally ended up.
