Dear Wurger,
Thank you for your kind welcome to WW2 Aircraft. Net. I only discovered the website by accident. I was trying to discover, someone that could help me, with my question.
The great photograph, which you attached, the propeller does look somewhat correct.
I have taken most of my information, from the Putnam Aeronautical Books book, entitled Fairey Aircraft Since 1915. Mr H. A. Taylor was the author of this book. Putnam Aeronautical Books published this book in 1997.
In addition, I have taken from the Richard A. Franks book, the information about the propellers.
The propeller for the Mk II, in addition, the Mk III Barracudas, this is a. Rotol, Four – Blade, Variable – Pitch, Constant – Speed, Tractor, R4/4B5/2 Propeller, of 11 Foot and 8.5 Inches in Diameter.
I have tried a website called Scalemates.Com. However, nothing came up, when I put in the Rotol propeller.
There used to be a great website called Airmodel.Sk. This was a wonderful website with all modelling items listed. However, I cannot find this website now.
Therefore, if you have any suggestions, as where I may go to find a 1:48 scale propeller, then I would be extremely grateful to you, for any information that you are able to provide to me.
I look forward to receiving any help you will be kind enough to give to me.
Kind regards,
Bill Flook.
