Hello guys, could you please help me with some informations about Eight Air Force pilot'straining during ww2 .

what do you want to know exactly? and what kind of pilot? SE fighters or multi engine bombers. I know for 8th AF fighter pilots in mid 43 they started off cadet training getting to learn to fly then progressed up to more advanced planes each at different bases. the last fixed gear plane was the BT-13 ( believe was first variable pitch prop but could be wrong on that ) then they went to the AT-6. they also learned gunnery in this plane. after that they flew p40s but not for too many hours...maybe 40 to 60. many mustang pilots never saw on until they got to their base in the uk...and there were no 2 seaters. so they got a crash course...sometimes figuratively and literally.

I would like to know some information about the bomber pilots
