Hi, I am sorry if i have posted this in the wrong place.

I am wondering if anyone knows if there are any records available for 9MU for 1941 - I have googled but not found anything specific for 9MU.

What I am looking for is details regarding a plane that arrived there in May ... I have a few dates so wanted to check which date is correct. This may not exist in records but would have liked to look.

9MU stuff can be a bit tricky since not all of it is online. A good place to start is the UK National Archives - they sometimes have movement cards or station logs that aren't obvious on Google. Also worth checking RAFCommands forum; people there are pretty knowledgeable and might point you to the right file reference.

W3248 "Letchworth" - I have managed to get the operation records for 611 Squadron and for 64 Squadron but not managed to find anything for when it was at 9MU ... RAF Hendon have been helpful in giving me details and dates so its now just a case of me tracking down records.
