The XP-46A first flew on 2 February 1941 and the XP-46 on 27 September, the A had no armament, bullet proof glass or radio.
According to the Material Command monthly chart, airplane characteristics and performance as of 30 June 1942.
XP-46 with V-1710-39, 1,000 HP/9,000 feet, 1,150 HP/9,600 feet and at sea level. 355 mph at 12,200 feet on 1,150 HP, 5 minutes to 12,300 feet, service ceiling 29,500 feet, 56 minutes cruise at 332 mph?, 156 gallons of fuel maximum, 103 normal, 5,625 pounds empty, 7,666 pounds Design Gross and 7,081 pounds normal?, 34 feet 4 inches span, 30 feet 2 inches length, wing 208 square feet, 4x0.30 inch with 500 rpg, 2x0.50 inch with 200 rpg, armoured, bullet proof glass, Specification 7651 PHQ-M-19-1364-A. From contract AC-13447

The 30 November 1941/January 1942 specification said high speed was 394 mph at 15,000 feet using 1,150 HP, endurance 1.5 hours on maximum and 1 hour on normal fuel with normal HP, weights slightly different, 5,626, 7,773 and 7,081 pounds, Engine fitted with backfire screens, 5.6 minutes to 15,000 feet.
In May 1941 top speed given as 410 mph at 15,000 feet, 5.3 minutes to 15,000 feet, 34 feet 4 inches by 28 feet 10 inches, 200 square feet of wing, 5,369 pounds empty, 6,747 pounds gross, 7,137 maximum gross, maximum fuel 163 gallons, normal 103 gallons.
For comparison the 30 June 1942 report quotes the XP-51 with the same engine, 382 mph at 13,000 feet using 1,110 HP, 8.4 minutes to 20,000 feet service ceiling 30,800 feet, endurance 3.51 hours at 65% power, 170 gallons maximum, 105 normal, 6,258 pounds empty, around 7,934 gross, 37 feet span by 35 feet 3 inches length, 233 square feet of wing, 4x0.50 inch with 200 rpg, 4x0.30 inch with 500 rpg, armour, bullet proof glass, specification 1620 PHQ-M-19-1330-A.

For what it's worth:
'Vee's For Victory' (Daniel Whitney 1998) also has a section on the XP-46, with similar data as Peter Bowers, except that span is given as 34 ft 3-1/4 in.
