Dad was posted to LS September 1945 as his first operational station.
To commemorate his service and that of all members of Bomber Command, I have created a flyable model of the airfield. It took 18 months and includes all 173 of the structures on the Record Site Plan, as well as the complete village at that time. Once posted (November?) it will be a free download to any with XPlane. I believe it is the world's most accurate rendition of a Bomber Command airfield on any sim platform.
