Shown here is a trio of Beaufighter Mk.IVCs of No.272 Sqd on patrol off malta, early June 1943. These Coatsal Command Beaufighters were equipped with underwing racks and also carried a 7.7 mm (0.303 in) machine-gun in the rear observer's position.
