A rare photo of one of the four "Gladiators" that in the first 2 months of the war were used to oppose to italian attacks on Malta. By the official story, at the beginning of the hostilitiesm , these 4 planes were closed in thier crates. They were mounted at once and gave to seaplane pilots. One of them was shot down at once, but other three, nicknamed "Faith", "Hope" and "Charity", cotinued to fight until they become craps due to the heavy work.
