Lavochkin LaGG-3

Seen here is a LaGG-3 in service on the Eastern Front in the winter of 1941-42. This example has the early type of rudder balancing and the fairing over the breech of a 12.7 mm (0-.5 in) UBS MG is just discernible on the engine cowling.
