Shown here is a Mc.205N-1 Orione in service with Regio Aeronautica warming-up its engine prior to take-off from a snow-covered airfield. The Orione had an armament of four 12.7 mm (0.5 in) guns in the nose and a 20 mm (0.79 in) MG 151/20 cannon firing through the propeller hub.
