Shown here is a shot down Bf 109E-1 belonging to 1./JG 52, based at Coquelles, France. This particular aircraft crash-landed in a field of stubble at Minster Road, Westgate-on-Sea after suffering engine failure, on 24th August, 1940. Note the running boar insignia on the nose.
