Seen here is a Mustang Mk.1 (AM106) whilst being used in S gun trials at Farnborough. This Mustang was used to test the mounting and devise the best method of attack. It is reasonable to suppose that the Mustang might have been a more suitable aircraft to use than the Hurricane in the tank-busting role..
