Shown here is Korppu Paltila standing beside his I-153 Tchaika which was used for reconnaissance purposes by TLeLv 30. Paltila who was the leader of the Tchaika flight, was drowned when his aircraft had to be ditched in the Gulf of Finland after an engne failure.
