Shown here are a pair of EP-1-106s (J 9) fighters of Flygflottij 3, RSAF serving in the recce role shortly before the end of WWII. The 60 (48 being sent to the Philippines - were they were used operational between 8th December, 1941 - 3rd January, 1942 - and the remainder were used as fighter trainers in the US) aircraft of this type requisitoned by the US government on 24th October, 1940 were designated P-35A by the USAAF.
