Shown here is a Sptifire F.Mk.22 with its two-stage Griffon engine and featuring a much stronger wing with fully enclosed undercarriage (although this cavorting F.Mk.22 has its tailwheel doors still open). Note also that the wing has finally lost the beautiful elliptical shape that had become the trademark of earlier versions.
