Shown here are two Spitfire Mk.VAs of No.521 Sqd (formerly No.1401 Flight) based at Bircham Newton in July 1942. Other aircraft used by this Met unit were Blenheim Mk.IVs, Gladiator Mk.IIs (one of which is shown), Mosquito PR.Mk.IVs and Hudson Mk.IIIs.
