This was in the February, 1943 issue of Popular Science as part of an article titled "Our Navy strikes from the sky". Has anyone heard of victory decals being handed out like this? I know I saw somewheres that the Grumman Co, supplied six victory decals with each F6F.

OK, you've heard of the P-38 Lightning, but have you ever heard of the Thunder? Never made it into squadron service, though ...

As one is always looking for new possible projects, regarding 13's of course, I've got a question.... Has anyone ever seen, or heard of, a '13' from 6./JG 52, I wouldn't mind doing one with the Eagle insignia on the engine cowling...
