As one is always looking for new possible projects, regarding 13's of course, I've got a question....
Has anyone ever seen, or heard of, a '13' from 6./JG 52, I wouldn't mind doing one with the Eagle insignia on the engine cowling...

Nothing in my Jg.52 specific books Jan. Do you have a time frame in mind and just the E model?

Unfortunately ten planes only can be seen in the picture. The 6./JG 52 with Wappen emblems in Speyer, March 1940

An elusive bird Jan. 8 books so far and only 2 pages worth, those being E-1s and nary a 13 or a 14. I did see a 14 from 8./52 so there is hope.

You Sir, deserve to be baconed!

    And.....

Would that be an E-1 or an E-3, plus....would the '13' and the eagle be black?

    Thanks a bunch gents! :notworthy:

Cheers Geo! The eagle in the 1/32 Eduard E-1 is very dark blue, almost black...

I'm guessing at E-1, but depending on date could be E-3. The '13' looks red to me, just going off the tonal reproductions, with the eagle more likely dark blue.

EDIT: I'm fairly sure the line up in the last pic is the same one as in Wojtek's pic, from the opposite end.
In Wojtek's pic, a small tent, made from joined-togther Zeltbahn's is visible, and this is probably the shelter for the crew of the MG15 AA machine gun, seen on the tripod in the foreground of the last pic. If this is the case, then they're E-1s.
