Yeah, me too. I've no Russian a/c in my stash but suspect that the MiG would be my first.

Shame you don't live in the UK Andy our local modelzone shop is selling this Mig3 at less than £30 which is a real bargain.

I'm doing exclusively 1/48 at the moment due to lack of storage space.

I have recently aquired the Trumpeter 1/48 of this bird, it is suposed to be basically the same kit, just scaled down.
Anything I should know about?

It was a joy to build not complicated as no engine to build yeah just a great kit. Saying that it had a very well detailed office. In fact it's still on at a discount at Modelzone, I might even buy another one so I can do the winter camo.

Nice build Vaughan. These Trumpeter kits are hit and miss sometimes, but this one is a winner. I built the 1/48 (early) version a little while ago and that was a real joy as well. Comes together very easily indeed. I have another 1/48 one (the late version with slats) in my stash as well.
