The first thing I have finished in probably a year and the first thing I have touched since April when I was laid up for a month.I took about 20hrs I guess over two weeks it was fun and the Camo is totally fabricated from my mind "it's my model !" :)

Nice one Kevin, and that cammo probably isn't that far removed from some of the 'in the field' applications.
The old Tamiya kit is still good today - I built my first one back in about 1970 - and I have another one I built about 12 years ago, which I need to place in a small diorama, being re-armed in Normandy - when I eventually get around to doing so !!

Thks Guys.I have the German Half Track from Tamy next.I do think in a few days when the clear is good and solid I will try some weathering.;)

Great job here Kevin, congrats. :occasion5:
I'm already pending at the final touch with the weathering ... I do not miss it!

Saludos cordiales amigo!!

The half track is getting closer put ALOT of effort into the men !You know Caucasians are basically pink with a tan.I broke a couple of pieces for the front of the truck like side-view mirrors out front have to re-glue.The weathering a tad strong on the truck but think in the right setting with work.I made up my own field color for the men then used three different colors of pastels to tame it down and give a dusty look but I did a pre-shade with a black wash then rubbed down with a q-tip.The k-98's have slings added made of green painters tape.I have two Dios in mind one for the tank and another for the truck and will probably take awhile to put together. If I succeed with the dios and you guys recognize them will make it worth it ;)
