1/72 Bristol 138A by NOVO (originally a FROG tooling)

I didn't have any 8" numbers and letters so I had to use the NOVO ones. They have yellowed a lot but I am hoping several coats of varnish will tone them down.

You could try minimizing the impact by overpainting the clear sections with the base fuselage colour. You have to use a very fine brush and be careful not to overpaint the letter/numerals...but it would hide the yellowed decal carrier film.

I think my eyeballs would burst into flames trying this. I might have been able to do this twenty years ago

You could put the decal on the sunlight for some of time. The yellowish tone of the clear background would disappear.

You do know I live in Britain dont you it could take years of precious sunlight
