Again, incorrect markings (basically it should be red double cross and blue background on the roundel not the other way round)... Correct national markings of Slovak Air Arms (Slovenske Vzdušne Zbrane - SVZ) in World War Two are as shown in attachment:
Picture 1.
First insignia of SVZ in use from 23rd July until 10th September 1939.
Picture 2.
Second insignia adopted for participation of SVZ in Polish campaign alogside the Luftwaffe. In use from 10th September 1939 until October 1940. As of 15th September 1939 this roundel on Slovak aircraft was suplemented with German Balkenkreuze in six standard positions (as shown on your profile of Avia B.534). Use of German Balkenkreuze on Slovak aircraft discontinued in March 1940.
Picture 3.
Definitive national insignia of SVZ in use from 15th October 1940 until October 1944.
Picture 4.
Insignia used on some of insurgent aircraft (but not all of them) during Slovak National Uprising August-October 1944.
Ilustration and info from book "Slovenske letectvo 1939-1944" Volume 1 (Slovak Air Force 1939-1944) written by Juraj Rajninec and published by Magnet-Press Slovakia in 1997.
Artists: Jaroslav Mučka, Eva Rajnincova and František Valek
Note: Post intended for historical accuracy and not to be understood as critic of Clave's work, which I happen to like. Not the best I've seen (in my opinion that would be work of Claes Sundin and Tom Tullis), but still very very good and showing great talent of the artist. Continue the good work Clave.
