POWER! This C&NW 4-8-4 locomotive was the big power used on most C&NW main lines. This might be on the main to Clinton but there is no date or location data on the photo. The photo is from the noted railroader/author Robert A. Janz collection and is now held at the archives of the C&NW Historical Society. What does the head end brakeman see?
