Ford B-24H-15-FO Liberator 42-52313 (737th BS, 454th BG, 15th AF, based at San Giovanni Airfield, Foggia, Italy). Crashed on the 29th of August 1944, 25 miles south of Trencin, Czechoslovakia, after (1) engine caught fire while on a mission on the tank factory at Ostrava, Czechoslovakia.
(1) Crewman Was Killed.
(9) crew bailed out and were captured and Became POW.
 
Lockheed C-60A-5-LO Lodestar 42-55913 to RAF as Lodestar II. No RAF serial known and may never have been issued. Transferred to Free French AF as FC-BAD on the 19th of February, 1943.
Crashed Algiers on the 30th of December, 1944.

Crashed near Marshall, TX. On the 17th of May, 1953.
The plane crashed 13 miles east of Marashall Texas, during an approach to Shreveport in a severe thunderstorm. The encountering of conditions in a severe thunderstorm, that resulted in loss of effective control of the aircraft, and the failure of the captain to adhere to company directives requiring the avoidance of thunderstorms when conditions would allow such action.
19 of 20 onboard killed.

Departed CONUS for PTO, arrived Saipan on the 29th of October 1944, named 'Dixie Darlin''. 497th BG, 871st BS, "Dixie Darling" ditched from unknown cause in Pacific Ocean on the 18th of December 1944, while on mission to Mitsubishi aircraft factory at Nagoya, Japan.
All 11 crew killed.
Witnesses stated the aircraft made the normal turn toward home base after the bomb run, but was never seen again.
 
Bell-Atlanta B-29B-30-BA Superfortress 42-63613 Assigned to 17th Bomb Squadron, 16th Bomb Group, 315th Bomb Wing, Fairmont AAF, NE, accident on the 22nd of April 1945 when landing at Fairmont AAF, NE. In bad weather, the aircraft drifted off the localizer and hit a large tree during the approach causing a significant amount of damage.
The aircraft force landed off the airfield without further damage.
Assigned to 411th Bomb Squadron, 502nd Bomb Group, 315th Bomb Wing.
